About Lori

Lori Peterson was born and raised on a farm in a small town in northwestern Wisconsin. She is wife to Albin Peterson and mother to two young adults--Ben (26) and Elizabeth (24). She earned an AAS in Accounting at Rasmussen School of Business, Minneapolis, MN, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.

Before a car accident that resulted in Traumatic Brain Injury in 2009, Lori was 1st Vice President of a successful company in Minneapolis and was Executive Director of three non-profit professional associations in the neurosciences for 10+ years. When the accident closed that chapter, it opened the door to writing.

When not at a computer, Lori enjoys exercising (yoga is her favorite), golf, gardening, spending time with family, and curling up with a good book.
